Dr. Dittrich, expert jerman yang membantu pengembangan FPTK UPI

Sejak Desember 2009, UPI memperoleh bantuan tenaga ahli(expert) bernama Dr Joachim Dittrich dari Jerman yang ditempatkan di FPTK selama dua tahun.
Kedatangan expert ini disponsori oleh Centre for International Migration and Development (CIM)-Germany. Dr. Dittrich akan membantu FPTK UPI dalam pengembangan kurikulum, pembelajaran, riset dan penerapan trans-national standard on TT-TVET serta membangun jejaring internasional untuk UPI pada umumnya dan FPTK pada khususnya. Posisi terakhir Dr. Dittrich sebelum bertugas di UPI adalah sebagai dosen dan peneliti senior di ITB-Bremen University.

Dr.-Ing. Joachim Dittrich

Dr. Dittrich studied Cybernetics at Stuttgart University, Germany, with aeronautical engineering and astronautics as a special subject, internships with Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart and Ferranti plc, Edinburgh, Scotland. He received his doctoral degree in system theory and control technology at the University of Hamburg-Harburg, Germany. Afterwards he worked as a freelancer completing several industrial control projects like the automization of a sewage plant in Columbia or the analysis and redesign of a cogeneration plant control. In 1995 he joined an SME in Hamburg, Germany, where he lead the departments of process control and of didactical products.

From 1996 on he worked as a researcher and lecturer for the vocational discipline Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Information Technology at the Institute Technology and Education (Institut Technik und Bildung – ITB) of the University of Bremen. He was involved in and lead quite a number of international projects with South, East and South-East Asian countries, which dealt with the development of vocational curricula and of TVET teacher/trainer education. National projects focused on energy efficiency in buildings, usability of automation systems and innovation research.

From 2009 on Dr. Dittrich was Vice Head of the ITB Department of International VET Research.

In December 2009 Dr. Dittrich joined the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (Facultas Pendidikan Teknology dan Kejuruan) at Indonesia University of Education (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia). Here he will contribute to Staff, Curriculum and Research Development.

Joachim Dittrich is executive secretary of the United TVET Network on Innovation and Professional Development (UNIP).
